My name is Ahatefu Krishna Kaviraja, also known as Nitai. I’m originally from Ghana, I lived and studied in the USA for two and then went to India for four years, I practiced and spent some time studying yoga in Hrishikesh.
I’ve been practicing yoga for the past six years and been teaching for three and a half years mostly in Thailand. I’ve experience in teaching students from several countries, backgrounds and all levels of students. And also have experience in teaching various forms of Yoga including Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, Pranayama, Yin Yoga, Restorative, Hatha Vinyasa flow, Stretching, arm balances, inversions and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. I have a strict personal regular practice of these various forms of Yoga as well.
I believe strongly in the principle of Ahimsa (non-violence) and compassion to all which is an intricate aspect of Yoga and been a strict vegetarian since birth. I’ve traveled to Kenya, Mexico, Bangladesh and other countries to
In my classes, I try to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for all to practice. I also aim to always encourage and challenge the students to work hard, have fun and make tangible progress and thus feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
